One of the most bustling and crowded squares in Valencia, full of entertainment and gastronomy facilities. The famous “escuradeta”, a pottery fair where you can buy these products, takes place in this square every year, from the feast day of the Virgen de los Desamparados to the Corpus Christi day. This square didn’t exist as such until the 19th century, when several buildings were demolish to create an open space. From Plaza de la Reina you can see the Puerta de los Hierros, the main door of the Cathedral, or the Miguelete, its bell tower.
