Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas

When you walk in through its spectacular door surrounded by lions, crocodiles and alabaster giants, created by Valencian sculptor Ignacio Vergara in the 18th century, you feel like taken back on time. Walking across its halls, you’ll be taken back to the life of the Valencian nobility in the 19th century: carriages, sculptures, porcelain, unique objects, paintings by Ignacio Pinazo…

Since 1954 it houses the National Ceramics Museum, with an important collection of Valencian ceramics and some outstanding pieces, such as the ones donated by Picasso to this museum.
