Caballeros Street

It is one of the most charismatic streets in the historic centre of Valencia. Already travelled by the ancient Romans (it was the old cardus), a walk down this street today enables visitors to observe the imposing noble palaces that are rooted in the Christian conquest of the city in the 13th century.

This street finishes in the popular Plaza de la Virgen, an all-year-round centre of celebrations and activity. On one side of this square, we find a big fountain representing the Turia river and its 8 main irrigation ditches.
